Hello! It’s Hugh!!!

Yesterday we made fire with the wild woods and cooked hotdogs for our dinner:) then tented at the camp. The place we stayed is a camping site so we had to pay $17 for a night per campsite.

This morning we had some coffee and discussed our route for today and more importantly, where to stay.

We heard from our friend Tara saying there is a great app called “WarmShowers.Org”

WarmShowers.Org

WarmShowers.Org is an app of the cyclists, by the cyclists, for the cyclists!!

What it means is that you can search for a place to stay over night through this app. However, rule on this app is you have to be a cyclist. So when you are at home, you become a host and help people stay at your home. When you are a traveler, you look for people in the area who is also using this app to ask them if you can stay there or not.

This Warmshowers.org is a free app and it’s running by people’s donation so you don’t have to pay for any fee to use this app. Isn’t it pretty amazing?

Already! We haven’t figure out where we are going to end up staying but start heading to DURHAM, NH!!!!

MA(マサチューセッツ州)からNH(ニューハンプシャー州)に突入しました!

Today we went for just about 48miles!

Yesterday was around 28miles!

Now we are not in MA anymore but in NH!!

Today I felt a lot better than yesterday about pedaling my bicycle. I wasn’t riding a bicycle as much as I used to ride in Tokyo for about 10days ago. So those muscles I made with the UBER EATS felt like needed to be warm up again. I guess it’s coming back little by little.

Today we had a lots of hills and up & downs were little tough. However it’s nothing like I did  compare to those Japanese mountains such as Mt. Hakone, mountains at Mie(rd 165) or Milk Road at Kumamoto. I’m sure those kinds of mountains are coming up at some point so I can’t say today was hard. Although I know I can do this with the bicycle I’m on right now because I did it with this bike!! And that gives me confident and make me go through for most of the hills.

Jay seemed like having a fun & really hard time for those hills and miles we went today.

This is going to be his first big tour on his bike so it will take a little time to get used to it for sure.

We will travel safely and put less stress on our muscles so that neither of us will get injured seriously. Eventually,,, when we get used to it,,, that’s the time we will go crazy about miles and mountains hahaha!!!
